On February 18, 19 & 20, 2025, HortiContact will take place, the premier trade show for the Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector, at the Evenementenhal Gorinchem. The main themes of HortiContact are The Future of the Greenhouse Horticulture Sector, Education & Labor, and Energy & Sustainability. These key themes will be reflected in several themed pavilions, the exhibitor offerings, and the knowledge program.
As a visitor to HortiContact, you’ll connect with experts, suppliers, knowledge partners, and colleagues from the sector. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain valuable insights, knowledge, and stay informed about the latest industry news. Additionally, the networking terraces on the exhibition floor are back this edition, and visitors can once again vote for the best innovation in the Tunnel of the Future.
First Edition of the National Horti Symposium
During the first edition of the annual National Horti Symposium on March 6, 2024, at HortiContact, we addressed the most crucial question in the sector: how is the sector managing its energy risks, and what strategies does this lead to?
Dick Veerman, founder of Foodlog, acted as the moderator and led the discussion in a thought-provoking and interactive manner. Researcher Remco de Boer from Studio Energie updated us on energy and climate issues. Bouke Arends, mayor of Westland, explained the role of local governments. Additionally, Puck Van Holstein, CEO of World Horti Center, shared her vision for the future.
The National Horti Symposium takes place on Wednesday, March 6. Reception is at 10:00 AM, and the program starts at 10:30 AM. From 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, there will be an opportunity to network over a lunch buffet, followed by a visit to the trade show. When ordering your ticket for HortiContact, you can register for the National Horti Symposium free of charge. Act quickly, as there is a limited number of seats available for the symposium.

Here, you can cast your vote for your favorite innovation using your Smart Badge. You can also vote online on our website before the trade show. The winner of this audience award will be announced at the end of the last day of the exhibition.
