Ranking the grower

This year, KAS magazine is organising the Ranking the Grower competition. The search for the most sustainable horticultural companies in the Netherlands. During HortiContact 2026, the focus will not be on individual entrepreneurs, but on the entire team behind a successful horticultural company.

The competition focuses on three categories: vegetables, flowers and plants. Industry peers can now nominate their favourite companies. An independent professional jury will assess the entries and determine the official ranking based on their assessment.

The announcement? It will take place at the festive Ranking the Grower Event during HortiContact 2026. An inspiring moment where sustainability, craftsmanship and collaboration will be put in the spotlight.

How does nominating work

  • You can nominate one or more companies in the categories of vegetables, flowers or plants. Both your own company and colleagues may be nominated.
  • Nominations are confidential and will only be assessed by a professional jury.
  • Submit your nomination via the KAS magazine website.
