The heart of Veiling Rhein-Maas is the ultra-modern auction hall with severel hundred customers’ seats, in which a wide and deep assortment of cut flowers and potted plants is auctioned. The products are sold here at eight clocks – four for cut flowers and four for pot plants. An LED projection screen is installed above each clock, showing product photos and delivery logos, among other things.
More and more customers and suppliers of Veiling Rhein-Maas are also using the digital purchasing channels Remote Buying (allows you to participate in the auction from any location via the Internet), Clock pre sales (offers customers the opportunity to reserve certain products offered at the auction clock at a fixed price on the day before the auction) and Webshop. The Clock Service provides customers and suppliers with an additional sales/purchasing channel.
Our marketplace, founded in 2010, is located directly on the Dutch border and is easy to reach thanks to its direct connection to the A40 motorway.
