After treatment of the raw source water by the Titan inverted membrane unit, the source water must be degassed and purified. These functions are realized by a multifilter which is placed after the membrane filtration system. With the multifilter, the source gases present are removed by means of a fan and atomization/aeration. Control takes place via the central control of the Titan unit. The multifilter is stored without pressure and only supplies a basin.
A signal cable from the basin level control starts/stops the Titan / multifilter.
Behind the multifilter there is a pressure pipe of treated spring water which is used for rinsing/cleaning the multifilter. A multifilter works better than a standard stripping tower and rinses itself clean; something a ‘normal’ strip tower cannot do. This ensures that the system functions optimally without the risk of slime formation or increased bacteria/germ counts.
