With the IRISS Universal sorting machine, you can sort a wide range of cut flowers and crops. The IRISS vision system evaluates 5,000 to 10,000 stems per hour based on their unique characteristics: length, stem thickness, number of branches, number of buds, bud diameter, bud color, ripeness, and flower or berry coverage are all precisely recorded.
IRISS then assigns the correct sorting based on the user’s predefined values. The product is then directed to the appropriate machine outlet, where employees can further process your uniformly sorted harvest. The development of IRISS never stops: with new techniques such as Deep Learning, the system is continuously improved.

The IRISS Universal Sorter is fully customized to your needs. The number of outlets starts at 9 and can be expanded in increments of 3. One, two, or three input stations—or more? You decide! The length and width of the input trays are also determined in consultation.
Do you grow multiple crop varieties with different dimensions? During a crop change, you can simply swap out the wide input trays for narrow ones or vice versa.
Additionally, the machine can be expanded with conveyor belts or other solutions to optimize your processing workflow.
The IRISS Universal sorting machine is also equipped with the simple, intuitive IRISS Sorting Interface. Here, you can create your own sorting programs per crop and sorting rules that define the parameters for various classifications. The unique way IRISS operates ensures you always get the best price for your harvest.
Additionally, all data from each flower is stored in the database. This can be integrated with product and/or labor registration systems, providing better insight into cultivation and harvesting.
