The IRISS Hydrangea mobile is a mobile sorting solution for cut hydrangeas. Up to approximately 1200 flowers per hour are assessed by IRISS cameras for diameter of the flower head, color of the flower and stem length. Each flower is assigned a color coding that corresponds to a preset sorting. This creates more uniform bunches.
These grading parameteres can be adjusted entirely to the grower’s wishes. Switching between different breeds is simple. By automating the sorting process, human error is eliminated. The sorting process is no longer dependent on trained personnel, leaving the grower more time for other essential business processes.
