About us
We are a courier company, very active in the horticultural sector, focusing on three words that capture the core of our identity:

We have been located in the Westland region since 1988, but through intensive collaboration with our partners, we have a nationwide network.
All transports are planned and coordinated from De Lier by a skilled and enthusiastic team of planners available by phone 24/7. We are happy to answer any questions and are always ready to think along with you about any logistical challenge.
In the booklet "De reis zonder eind," our director Fabian van Velden describes why we believe in our right to exist and how we can ultimately pass this on to future generations.
It is not our goal to collect positive reviews, but this is the logical consequence of who we are. We want to be and remain special in a world that sometimes seems to harden.

Fast Direct Service.
For when you really need it fast! Our Fast Direct Service is the service that started it all for Veldwerk Koerier in 1988, when Koos van Velden founded his courier company. Although we now utilize many innovative technologies in our work, the core of this service remains the same. We are available 24/7 for urgent assignments for the business market, where time is of the essence or where the shipment is so fragile that regular transport is insufficient. No time lost due to overloading, but direct transport from the collection to the delivery address throughout Europe. For this purpose, we now have a wide range of vans and delivery vans available in various sizes, allowing us to offer perfectly customized solutions. We have strategically positioned our own vehicles at various locations in South Holland so that we can help our customers as quickly as possible. At our De Lier location, we also have various types of trailers available, which can make all the difference in situations such as truck driving bans. Moreover, a van with a trailer is more cost-effective than a truck. Over the years, we've built a network of reliable partners throughout the Netherlands, so we can quickly respond to even a trip from Groningen to Maastricht. Express Transport Service.
Larger than average, yet very fast. Sometimes a shipment is too large or too heavy for our vans (even with a trailer attached). If we need to act quickly, we have a truck available at our De Lier location, which allows us to generally handle orders just as quickly as our vans and buses. Our refrigerated truck with a tail lift and a spacious sleeper cab is available 24/7 for urgent orders throughout Europe. It has an 8,000 kg payload and can transport up to 45 m³ of refrigerated, frozen, heated, or unconditioned cargo as needed. If we bring our electric pallet truck, we can accommodate up to 19 euro pallets or 15 block pallets. The front meter of the loading space is 230 cm high, while the rest is a maximum of 255 cm high. With this vehicle, we are able to handle refrigerated or heavy transport orders quickly and flexibly.
Contract Service.
Customized daily transportation: the ultimate in peace of mind. The most important reason to choose our Contract Service is the complete peace of mind. This service is difficult to summarize in a few words, because there are so many options, but you could compare it to ordering a menu from a top-quality restaurant: quick and easy, yet perfectly tailored to your needs. Our menu is as follows: 1. Emergency deliveries 2. Temperature-controlled transport 3. Distribution 4. Contribution 5. Storage 6. Transshipment 7. Inventory management 8. Goods receipt 9. Prices are not listed on this menu, but of course, our rates for the Contract Service are also customized. They are, however, highly transparent, as we work with open calculations. Continuity in the partnership with our customers is always our priority.
Same Day Service.
If your shipment is a little less urgent. Our Same Day Service was developed to increase our load factor and reduce our CO2 emissions. This is often difficult in standard courier work due to the urgency of the shipments. If you register your shipment with us before 11:00 AM and it is ready, we will ensure it is delivered before 5:00 PM that same day. We provide this service in collaboration with our partners. Your shipment may be reloaded multiple times, but this will of course be done with the care you would expect from a reputable courier. Of course, less urgency also means lower costs. You will understand that such a system of combining shipments must meet several conditions to be successful. Therefore, the following additional conditions apply to the Same Day Service: • Only on weekdays • Only within the Netherlands (excluding the Waddeneilanden and Zeeuws Vlaanderen) • Maximum weight, volume, and length of the shipment are respectively: 50 kg, 0.5 m³, and 100 cm • Additional stops and return loads are not possible.
Refrigerated Courier Service.
Just like our Express Transport Service, our Refrigerated Courier Service is specifically tailored to the needs of a specific customer group. If you work with temperature-sensitive products, you know better than anyone how important it is that they are handled carefully throughout the entire supply chain. Then it's reassuring to know that there are couriers you can confidently entrust with this. 24/7, your temperature-sensitive goods will be collected from our location in De Lier using a refrigerated unit in a van or truck and delivered directly to the delivery address throughout Europe. Our refrigeration units are available in four different sizes: Small • Temperature range 0°C to +20°C • 95x83x73 cm • Up to 500 kg • Only individual crates or boxes • Overnight cooling not possible Medium • Temperature range -20°C to +20°C • 140x98x88 cm • Up to 800 kg • 1 Euro pallet is possible • Overnight cooling not possible Large • Temperature range 0°C to +20°C • 290x120x138 cm (front 120 cm is 115 cm high) • Up to 900 kg • Pallets are possible • Overnight cooling not possible Extra Large • Temperature range 0°C to +20°C (dual temperature is possible) • 350x120x155 cm (front 100 cm is 135 cm high) • up to 770 kg • only loose crates or boxes • overnight cooling not possible Is a refrigeration unit too small? No problem! We also have a refrigerated truck, with which we can transport up to 45 m³ and 8,000 kg, chilled, frozen, or heated. With a temperature range of -20°C to +20°C, the right temperature is practically always possible. If we bring our electric pallet truck, we can accommodate up to 19 euro pallets or 15 block pallets. The front meter of the loading space is 230 cm high, the rest is a maximum of 255 cm high. Thanks to the spacious sleeper cab and stationary refrigeration, this truck can easily be sent throughout Europe.
