Met Sigrow halen telers het maximale uit hun teelt door klimaatoptimalisatie op basis van betrouwbare, diepgaande metingen in plant en wortelzone. Wij zijn een jong en innovatief technologiebedrijf, gespecialiseerd in plant-, microklimaat- en substraatmetingen.
Uit de praktijk blijkt dat implementatie van innovatieve teelttechnieken zoals Het Nieuwe Telen goed samengaat met grote hoeveelheden data met de juiste begeleiding. Daarom positioneren wij ons naast hardwareleverancier ook als inhoudelijke partner. Onze sensoren leveren hoogwaardige meetdata, maar onze echte meerwaarde zit in de vertaalslag: van meting naar fysiologisch inzicht, en van inzicht naar concrete teeltacties op kasniveau.
Ons team bestaat uit gedreven plantfysiologen met diepgaande kennis van waterbalans, energiehuishouding, verdamping en gewasrespons. Wij helpen telers om data te structureren, verbanden te herkennen en hun klimaat- en irrigatiestrategie continu te optimaliseren. Samen met teler en adviseur maken we data praktisch toepasbaar en direct inzetbaar in de dagelijkse teeltsturing.

Products & services

Net Radiometer
The Net Radiometer measures what air and PAR sensors cannot: how much energy your crop is actually gaining or losing to its surroundings. One continuously updated number in W/m2, covering the full radiation balance (solar plus longwave), positive when the crop absorbs energy and negative when it loses energy. Growers use it to time screens on a real trigger, to check whether minimum pipe is doing its job, and to spot night-time radiative cooling before condensation and Botrytis set in. Wireless and solar-powered, with an operating range from -40 to 80 degrees C.

Pixel
Pixel is a solar-powered wireless microclimate sensor for the crop canopy. It measures point temperature with 0.3 degrees C accuracy, relative humidity from 0 to 100%, dew point and leaf-level VPD, right where your crop grows. With a LoRa wireless range of 300 to 500 m, Pixel covers large greenhouses without cabling. Readings integrate with Priva, Hoogendoorn and Ridder climate computers via API, so you can spot cold corners, prevent condensation and steer a more uniform climate.

DrainSense
DrainSense is Sigrow's wireless drain sensor for soil-based and substrate-based greenhouses. It continuously measures drain EC, pH, temperature, drain volume and live gutter weight at a 5-minute interval, with 0.5% load cell precision. Because it measures the water leaving the root zone and the gutter weight, not the substrate itself, it works on every greenhouse substrate: rockwool, coco, coco peat, perlite and soil. Growers use it to steer irrigation on real drain data, resolving drain EC shifts under 0.3 mS/cm in real time. Solar-powered and fully wireless; integrates with HortOS, Argus and Priva.

Stomata Camera
See your plants breathing. The Stomata Camera is Sigrow's flagship crop monitoring system: a patented fusion of RGB and thermal imaging with AI plant segmentation. It continuously measures leaf and fruit temperature, stomatal behavior, leaf-level VPD, PAR light and Real RTR (Real Transpiration Rate), so you see how the crop actually responds to your climate before stress becomes visible. Growers use it to detect diseases such as powdery mildew 2 to 3 days before visible symptoms and to steer climate and irrigation on plant data instead of assumptions. Standard deployment density is 1 Stomata Camera per 1,000 m2. Connects to your climate computer via API (Priva, Hoogendoorn, Ridder).

Soil Mini
Soil Mini is Sigrow's portable, plug-and-play substrate spot-check sensor: 100% wireless with a long-lasting rechargeable battery. It measures substrate water content, EC and temperature at 2% accuracy in rockwool, coco peat, soil and perlite. Growers walk it through the greenhouse to find dry zones, hot spots and irrigation inconsistency in minutes. In a 2023 strawberry trial at Proefcentrum Hoogstraten, Soil Mini data helped cut drain water by 38% and total water use by 19.5% with zero yield loss. Growers report up to 20% water reduction and 15% better crop uniformity.

Soil Pro+
Soil Pro+ is Sigrow's all-in-one greenhouse soil, substrate and microclimate sensor. In one device it measures substrate water content from 0 to 100% (2% accuracy), EC from 0 to 20 mS/cm, substrate temperature from -10 to 60 degrees C, relative humidity and PAR light up to 2000 umol/m2/s. It works in rockwool, coco, soil and perlite. LoRa Private wireless with 500 m range, a 5-minute update interval and a battery that lasts 5+ years. Pair it with DrainSense for complete root-zone visibility, from irrigation input to drain.
