4MT IRISS Hydrangea Sorting Machine
4More Technology has made the success of IRISS Roses available for hydrangeas. IRISS Hydrangea is the system that ensures perfect, uniform bunches of hydrangeas. A total solution for the grower has been developed with the IRISS Hydrangea Sorter. Up to 1200 flowers per hour are assessed for their unique properties: bulb diameter, color and stem length are accurately recorded. Where necessary, the stems are cut to size and then sorted according to the values set by the user. This allows uniform bunches to be created, which can be bunched by the employee without cutting. By optimizing the sorting process, labor savings of 25-40% are achieved Uniformity is the key word at IRISS Hydrangea. This means: producing perfect, uniform bunches of hydrangeas. The user can easily set multiple measured values, so that uniformity is tailored to his or her own preference. This also makes it possible to respond to the customer's wishes. For example, does the customer only want stems of 55 cm? This is easy to achieve with IRISS Hydrangea. The IRISS Hydrangea Sorting Machine can be fully adapted to your wishes. The modular system makes it easy to adapt the machine to the space you have available. Are you moving to a different location, do you want to move the machine to a larger space or does the machine subsequently prove to be insufficient? Modules can then easily be added, without incurring high costs for adapting the existing machine. The capacity can also easily be doubled by installing a 2nd machine. The possibilities are endless! 4MT Buffer station
4MT Buffer station: Solution for smaller sortings of roses. In close cooperation with one of our customers, the product 4MT Buffer Station was created. The problem they encountered was that for some sortings, only minimal numbers of roses were sorted per day. Because a separate bunching station is used for each sorting, there were bunching stations that only operated for a fraction of their capacity per day. As a solution we developed the 4MT Buffer station. 4MT Bufferstation makes it possible to process 3x as many sortings on the surface of 1 bunching station. The roses are buffered in a string belt station. In this station, approx. 30-40 roses fit, depending on the bud size. Once the station is full, an alarm will sound. The employee can then simply empty the station and manually bunch the roses. By replacing 1 bunching station with a 4MT Buffer station, you can process 2 extra sortings. Or add 4MT Buffer Station next to your current bunching stations. 4MT IRISS Hydrangea Mobile
The IRISS Hydrangea mobile is a mobile sorting solution for cut hydrangeas. Up to approximately 1200 flowers per hour are assessed by IRISS cameras for diameter of the flower head, color of the flower and stem length. Each flower is assigned a color coding that corresponds to a preset sorting. This creates more uniform bunches. These grading parameteres can be adjusted entirely to the grower's wishes. Switching between different breeds is simple. By automating the sorting process, human error is eliminated. The sorting process is no longer dependent on trained personnel, leaving the grower more time for other essential business processes.

IRISS Defects uses deep learning to train itself to recognise growth abnormalities and deseases. These defects are flawlessly detected by the IRISS vision system. Think of: - Mildew - Ball centers - Curved stems - Curved necks Decide what happens next by assigning the defect (or a gradation of) to the appropriate sorting. Will a curved rose yield a higher price when it's shorter, but straighter? IRISS takes care of it! IRISS defects is part of the IRISS Roses vision system.
IRISS Universal sorting machine
With the IRISS Universal sorting machine, you can sort a wide range of cut flowers and crops. Depending on the tray width, up to 11,000 stems per hour are analyzed by the IRISS vision system for their unique characteristics: length, stem thickness, number of branches, number of buds, bud diameter, bud color, ripeness, and flower or berry coverage are all accurately recorded. IRISS assigns the correct sorting category based on the values preset by the user. The product is then directed to the appropriate outlet of the machine, where your staff can further process your uniformly sorted harvest. IRISS uses cameras that, through 3D measurements, can perfectly map the crop. In a single glance, the various characteristics of each product are measured and evaluated. In addition, the color of the bud is clearly captured. With these measurements, every product can be sorted with great precision. The user determines the sorting settings themselves. The IRISS Universal Sorter is fully customized to your specifications. The number of outlets can be expanded from 9, in increments of 3. One, two, three feeding places or more? The choice is yours! For the loading trays there is a choice between narrow and wide trays. Do you cultivate multiple types of crops with different sorting specifications? Then this machine is ideal: switching between various sorting programs takes just a few mouse clicks. During crop changes, you can simply swap out the loading trays — a tray for a narrow flower can easily be replaced with one suited for a wider crop. In addition, the machine can be expanded with conveyor belts or other solutions to optimize your processing workflow. Sort crops like spray roses, delphinium, matthiola, viburnum, helianthus, and amaryllis — but berry crops like ilex, symphoricarpos, and hypericum can also be perfectly sorted with this machine.
