The opening in Utrecht comes just ten months after the relocation of the headquarters from Capelle aan den IJssel to a larger location in Vlaardingen. This highlights the strong growth the company has experienced in recent years. MyLedgnd, Ledgnd’s data platform, grew by 114% in 2024. The platform enables growers to integrate data from climate computers, sensors, and plant feedback systems into one overview. Due to this doubling of users, both illuminated and non-illuminated growers are increasingly using the insights provided by MyLedgnd to boost yields, improve quality, and reduce costs. This ensures continued growth in the number of users.

“The opening of our office in Utrecht marks another milestone,” says Ramon van de Vrie, founder of Ledgnd. “It is not only an additional location, but also a centrally located base that brings us closer to our customers in the northern part of the country. It also offers opportunities to attract talented employees who want to contribute to a sustainable future for greenhouse horticulture.”

Rapid growth
In recent years, Ledgnd has developed into a leading player in greenhouse advisory and data integration. By bridging science and practice, the company helps growers transition to more data-driven and sustainable cultivation methods. The user-friendly platform, MyLedgnd, provides growers with all relevant cultivation data in a clear overview.

According to Van de Vrie, the choice for Utrecht aligns perfectly with the ambition to continue growing and further support the sector with innovative solutions. “We see that our customers and employees are located all over the country. A second location in the heart of the Netherlands allows us to respond more quickly and engage in new collaborations.”
