Innovation Awards
The Innovation Awards are a regular part of HortiContact and reward innovative, novel products and concepts that help the sector move forward.
During the HortiContact, visitors determine the winners by voting for their favorite. This can be done prior to the trade show via this website and during the trade show in the Innovation Zone.
In addition, all nominees automatically compete for the national Innovation Award, which is awarded by an independent professional jury.
Innovation Awards 2026
This year, the Innovation Awards are once again an important part of HortiContact. Exhibitors will soon be able to register their innovations for participation in the election. One condition is that you have an EasyGo Plus package.

Before exhibition
- Is your innovation nominated? Then your visibility on our website, social media channels and in visitor mailings.

During exhibition

- You can vote for your innovation by scanning the Smart Badge reader. This is linked to your innovation, so you will receive all these votes (and thus leads) after the fair.

- You get the honor of a year.
- A professional video will be shot at an end user of your innovation worth Є1000.

Winner 2025
OPUSWatch has won the HortiContact Innovation Award 2025 with a smart application for labor registration via a smartwatch. With the push of a button, work activities are automatically registered, resulting in less administration and more insight. The data is available in real time, enabling more efficient planning and management on the work floor. A user-friendly and future-oriented solution for labor management in the horticultural sector.
Second place went to KUBO with their CO2-negative greenhouse, which filters CO2 from the air and improves crop growth. Artechno Growsystems finished in third place thanks to their innovative cultivation system for young plants, which increases production and reduces disease risks.
