Winner Innovation Award 2025

OPUSWatch won the HortiContact Innovation Award 2025 with a smart application for labor registration via a smartwatch. Activities are automatically registered at the touch of a button, resulting in less administration and more insight. The data is available in real-time, enabling more efficient planning and management on the shop floor. A user-friendly and future-oriented solution for labor management in the horticulture sector.

Looking back on the Innovation Award 2025

The HortiContact Innovation Award 2025 was presented on Wednesday 19 February during HortiContact. OPUSWatch won the top prize with their smart application for labour registration and productivity insights via a smartwatch. Their innovation won over the audience.

Second place went to KUBO with their CO2-negative greenhouse, which filters CO2 from the air and improves crop growth. Artechno Growsystems finished in third place thanks to their innovative cultivation system for young plants, which increases production and reduces disease risks.

Visitors could vote online and on the exhibition floor via the smart badge, which made for an interactive and exciting voting round. OPUSWatch’s win highlights the growing importance of digitisation in greenhouse horticulture.
