A fresh new chapter for HortiContact

As the leading event for the Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector, HortiContact is getting a fresh new format. After in-depth conversations with growers, suppliers, and other key players, organizer Easyfairs is reimagining the event to better meet the needs of today’s professionals.

What’s changing?
In 2026, HortiContact will take place over two focused, high-impact days: Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 February, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. With extended evening hours, the new format is designed to make it easier for everyone — including busy growers and cultivators — to take part.

Insight-Driven Renewal
The Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector is undergoing major changes. Factors like industry consolidation, shifting government policies, geopolitical challenges, the lasting effects of the pandemic, and the energy crisis are reshaping how professionals connect and share knowledge.

Through conversations with growers, suppliers, and other experts, one thing became clear: HortiContact needs to be more than just a business platform — it must also inspire, connect, and help the sector look ahead.

More than just an event
Behind the scenes, Easyfairs is crafting a rich program featuring timely themes, dedicated zones on the exhibition floor, and innovative ways to share knowledge. Visitors can look forward to an inspiring atmosphere where innovation, collaboration, and practical solutions take center stage.

Our conversations with exhibitors and visitors made one thing clear: it’s time to take HortiContact to the next level,” says Lucas van ’t Hof, Head of Cluster at Easyfairs. “With this new two-day format, we’re creating an event that’s more focused, more relevant, and more inspiring — two days full of quality content, innovation, and real connection.”

With this strategic renewal, HortiContact aims to strengthen its position as the leading platform for the greenhouse horticulture sector and remain relevant in a rapidly evolving landscape.
