GORINCHEM \u2013 The winner of the\u00a0HortiContact\u00a0Innovation Award 2026 has been announced: Signify \/ Philips Horticulture LED Solutions takes home the award with Unlock lighting intelligence. The innovation received the highest number of votes from visitors and other industry professionals, earning recognition as this year\u2019s most valued innovation.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Real-time control of greenhouse lighting<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlock lighting intelligence consists of intelligent lighting solutions that\u00a0optimize\u00a0greenhouse lighting in real time. By aligning light levels with crop needs, energy prices and market demand, growers gain greater control over their cultivation processes and can more effectively manage yields and energy consumption.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The technology helps growers\u00a0operate\u00a0more efficiently and respond better to fluctuations in energy and production conditions. Second place in the\u00a0HortiContact\u00a0Innovation Award 2026 went to\u00a0Zoecore\u00a0with ZOECORE, which improves water uptake, yield and plant resilience while reducing the use of resources. Van der Ende Group secured third place with\u00a0Airmix\u00a0Active, a hybrid dehumidification system designed for year-round humidity control, improved climate\u00a0uniformity\u00a0and higher energy efficiency.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0HortiContact\u00a0Innovation Award is granted based on votes cast by visitors and other professionals from the greenhouse horticulture sector. Voting was open before, during and after the exhibition through the website.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
