MyLedgnd provides users with a practical and simple way to gain insight into their greenhouse data. This gives you a clear picture of the various climate factors and their influence on your crop. Based on the data that MyLedgnd collects and analyses, growers can then optimise their cultivation strategies. The Ledgnd software portal is continuously developing, says Maarten van Bemmel, Product Owner MyLedgnd. “By working with plant feedback systems, a grower not only has insight into climate data, but also into how the crop responds to changes in the greenhouse. All this data is visualised and analysed in MyLedgnd. In this way, we actually let the plant talk to the grower and from now on they will speak the same language.”

New: daily reports
Furthermore, MyLedgnd users will soon have access to daily reports to quickly and easily see how your crop has performed and what could have been improved that day. The daily reports provide accurate insight into the crop’s performance per day and enable growers to better identify deviations in the climate or other parameters. The reports also provide practical tools to solve problems and optimize the cultivation process.

Ledgnd is currently also testing and validating sensors that provide feedback on the condition of plants. This includes measurements such as evaporation via leaf temperature), light absorption (fluorescence) and stress levels (derived from microvoltages, comparable to a ‘heartbeat’ of the plant), Van Bemmel indicates. “We use these techniques to investigate how we can use the data to optimize the growing conditions of plants on a large scale. We also pay a lot of attention to the microclimate around the plant, because this directly affects how the plant grows and develops.”
