GORINCHEM – The winner of the HortiContact Innovation Award 2026 has been announced: Signify / Philips Horticulture LED Solutions takes home the award with Unlock lighting intelligence. The innovation received the highest number of votes from visitors and other industry professionals, earning recognition as this year’s most valued innovation.
Real-time control of greenhouse lighting
Unlock lighting intelligence consists of intelligent lighting solutions that optimize greenhouse lighting in real time. By aligning light levels with crop needs, energy prices and market demand, growers gain greater control over their cultivation processes and can more effectively manage yields and energy consumption.
The technology helps growers operate more efficiently and respond better to fluctuations in energy and production conditions. In doing so, the innovation addresses current key themes within the greenhouse horticulture sector, such as energy efficiency, predictability and data-driven cultivation.

Second and third place
Second place in the HortiContact Innovation Award 2026 went to Zoecore with ZOECORE, which improves water uptake, yield and plant resilience while reducing the use of resources. Van der Ende Group secured third place with Airmix Active, a hybrid dehumidification system designed for year-round humidity control, improved climate uniformity and higher energy efficiency.

The HortiContact Innovation Award is granted based on votes cast by visitors and other professionals from the greenhouse horticulture sector. Voting was open before, during and after the exhibition through the website.
