GORINCHEM – HortiContact 2026 will be all about collaboration, knowledge sharing, and helping professionals grow. Kas als Energiebron and Glastuinbouw Nederland are joining forces through HoirtiContact, bringing together relevant content and practical knowledge. For the second time, Kas als Energiebron is presenting KasLokaal at the trade fair. This brings together practical experience, new insights, and innovative techniques, allowing visitors to take away immediately applicable knowledge for their own greenhouse practices.
About KasLokaal
How do greenhouse hulticulture professionals stay up-to-date on energy, innovation, and new technologies? The KasLokaal, part of “Kas als Energiebron”, brings this knowledge together in a compact greenhouse in the center of the trade fair. Kas als Energiebron is the joint innovation and action programme of Glastuinbouw Nederland and the Ministery of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security, and Nature. The programme is co-funded by Stichting Kennis in je Kas.
During both trade fair days, visitors can participate in workshops on the theme of “Learning to Innovate.” The workshops are specifically aimed at growers and other professionals who want to move forward. This initiative offers a unique opportunity to combine a trade fair visit with an educational and practical hour in the KasLokaal of the future.
